On September 23rd, take part in a fun, exciting running & cycling duathlon starting from the beautiful Nettleden Lodge.
The event was created by dad of two, Will Jackson-Moore, (our founder Alex's cousin) from Nettleden, who organised the day to raise money for us as well as Cancer Research. Based at Nettleden Lodge in the beautiful Chilterns on September 23rd, the event consists of a 6km run, a 24km road cycle and then another 6km run. Entry fee is just £35 and 100% of the proceeds goes towards two charities- Cancer Research UK and Harrison's Fund.
Family and all supporters welcome!
There will be refreshments, homemade cakes and coffee on sale from 10am as well as a post-race BBQ and loads of fun for the kids! There's a free Kids "off road" cycle event hosted within the grounds at Nettleden Lodge and a kid's triathlon in the afternoon.

Event organiser Will has said: "Ever since Harrison's diagnosis we have all pulled together as a family and tried to do all we can to support the charity in its mission. For the last few years we have organised a triathlon but this year decided to do something different with the duathlon. It is going to be a real family friendly day so we are encouraging everyone to come along and take part either through the event or just by being there to support our participants. We are hoping to raise £10,000 form the day which will hopefully provide a significant boost to the charity's work."
Our founder, Alex, has also said: "Despite being one of the busiest men I know, Will somehow always finds time in his diary to hold the Nettleden event. Our extended family has had a battle with cancer over the years and sadly it took William's mum some years ago. He has been a strong supporter of cancer charities since then but I am blessed that we also have his support for Harrison's Fund and our mission to bring a stop to Duchenne."
It's not too late to grab your place in this event, and enjoy a day out in glorious Nettleden countryside!
