Stars of stage and screen have come together in support of Brunch this year. Check out our amazing support below.
Theo Micheals is an ambassador of Harrison’s Fund and a long-standing supporter of Brunch. Executive chef, threetimes published author and frequent guest chef for “This Morning”, we think he knows a thing or two about food! Foodie credentials aside, Theo is also a devoted Dad which is one of the reasons he is such a passionate supporter of Brunch. Watch our video of Theo cooking up a storm with our very own Harrison here and check out the recipe that he has made just for us.
You may remember Julie Dawn Cole as ultimate spoilt brat Veruca Salt in the original cult film “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” back in 1971. From “Poldark” to “Casualty” and many roles in between, Julie has enjoyed a 40 year career in stage and screen. Now a dedicated Mum of two grown-up children, she says that Brunch is truly a cause that people should be supporting. Julie says “Duchenne seems like a Cinderella condition that simply doesn’t get the exposure it should. Hosting a Brunch for Harrison’s Fund is a great way to do our bit to make Duchenne a thing of the past.”
TV presenter Cat Sandion is one of the most recognisable faces in children’s television. A Cbeebies favourite, Cat hosts her own show “Magic Door”, is a regular in the studio and is also the star of many Cbeebies stage shows. Amidst all this, Cat is also a Mum to a bouncing little boy. Of all people, Cat understands how hectic life can be and thinks that Brunch provides a great opportunity for families to get together and just enjoy life- all for a great cause.
