This June we celebrated "Harrison's Brunch" and ate ..and ate...and ate...to raise money which enables us to fund potentially lifesaving treatments for all those with Duchenne. Over 200 of you gathered your friends, families and work mates to enjoy brunch together! We'd love to hear about your brunch experience so please do send us any pics and stories you'd like to share. Email your story to firstname.lastname@example.org
We were also very fortunate to have the support of celebrity chef Theo Michael's and Good Morning Britain's Charlotte Hawkins. The idea was inspired by our very own little chef in the making, Harrison, who (under Alex's very watchful eye) loves to cook up a feast for his family at the weekend. It's so easy and fun to do- and brunch is always nice, anytime of year!
A huge thank you goes out to everyone involved in Harrison's Brunch this June.
"It's an honour to support Harrison's Brunch. As a dad of three young children, this campaign really resonates with me and I can't even begin to imagine what Alex and the thousands of parents of children with Duchenne are going through every day. When I look at photos of Harrison I'm always inspired by his character and heartbroken to know how much he is affected by this disease and how much worse it will get in the future without any breakthroughs. Which is where everyone can help, even just a little.
I encourage people across the UK to get brunching this June and host their own event – you don't need to be a professional cook to make some fantastic brunch treats and all the money raised will make a real difference to the lives of thousands of children with this life-limiting disease."

"As a mum I am always keen to support charities who make a difference to the lives of children, and I was particularly touched by Harrison's story. So whether you're the next Master Chef champion, or are just beginning your cooking adventures, Harrison's Brunch is the perfect opportunity for a get together with friends and family for a wonderful cause. So get poaching those eggs and flipping those pancakes and help us raise money to find a cure for this fatal disease once and for all."
