"Lay Your Head On Me" Charity single

The Alive & Kickin' Community Choir of Brecon continue to be busy promoting their fantastic song 'Lay Your Head On Me'. The song was specifically written by the choir leader, singer songwriter Tanya Walker, for Harrison's Fund with all the sales proceeds going to us. The song was launched in February and we'll think you'll agree when you hear it that it is a beautiful, poignant tribute to the bravery of the families facing a life with Duchenne.

Recently the choir provided entertainment during the interval at a Jon Boden concert at Brecon's Theatr Brycheiniog. After his show Boden joined the choir for a sing song in the theatre bar and accompanied them on his concertina during a live performance of 'Lay Your Head On Me'. He also showed his support by having a photo taken holding the song's hashtag #Song4Harrisons.

On the 3rd of June at 8.30pm the Alive & Kickin' Community Choir will be officially closing this year's world famous Hay Festival on the festival's main stage. The highlight of their performance will of course be 'Lay Your Head On Me'. Tanya and the choir hope that this performance will help raise even more awareness for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and Harrison's Fund.
