The Worshipful Company of Grocers fund further research

We are excited to announce that funding has been received by The Worshipful Company of Grocers. The grant of £5,000 will cover the purchase costs of a novel synthetic gene medicine. This medicine can then be tested using the new techniques that Dr Foster is trialling. at Sutura Therapeutics. This investment from The Worshipful Company of Grocers will help us to ensure the research we are funding at Sutura Therapeutics can continue and we hope to see positive outcomes over the next 6-12 months. Any positive outcomes from his research could result in more effective treatments for Duchenne - a condition which affects approximately 2,500 people in the UK. There is no geographical boundary to the research that Dr Foster and his team are undertaking and any positive outcomes could benefit the whole Duchenne community.
