Harrisons Fund

Our Ambassadors

Harrison would love to become a TV Presenter one day and really enjoys meeting well-known faces! To help us raise awareness of Duchenne, and why we need to find a cure, we'd be delighted to work with some famous faces from TV, Radio, Sport and Music. If you know anyone who fits the bill, please contact us at info@harrisonsfund.com and we'd love to hear from you!

We are delighted to announce that Surrey-based Personal Trainer known as 'Fit with Frank' has joined the Harrisons Fund team as an ambassador. Frank is busy doing his best to make fitness fun and accessible to everybody. He's helping 100's of mums and dads get "Fit with Frank" at home with his online membership club as well as taking LIVE workouts on Channel 4 Sunday Brunch and warming up crowds at events such as Surrey Half Marathon and Weybridge 10k.

Frank said; "To be an ambassador of this wonderful charity is an honour and more importantly doing everything we possibly can to help the fight against Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy for Harrison and the 1,000s of children suffering the disease around the world. Look out for me around Surrey sporting my blue tracksuit (most likely) and doing my best to raise awareness and fundraising at any opportunity I can. Who knows, I may even end up quite fit one day too ;) "

Theo Michaels
Theo Michaels

We are absolutely delighted to announce that we have a new Ambassador at Harrison's Fund, Theo Michaels.

Theo is a three-times published author, writes a weekly food column for Best Magazine, has been a guest chef numerous times for ITV This Morning and the Food Network and held dozens of radio interviews. Theo is currently the Executive Chef for an international events company and lives just outside London with his wife and three young children.

Theo's inspiration for food varies from his Greek Cypriot roots, his travels, to cooking simple healthy food for his family (and pretty much anything cooked over charcoal). After hearing of the struggle Duchenne has caused Harrison and his family Theo became involved with our Harrison's Brunch campaign in 2016 and became our ambassador in 2018 when he will be the face of the campaign once more.

Theo said; "Quite simply, this is a horrific condition and one that isn't as commonly known as it should be. As a dad of three it was heartbreaking to hear the struggle that children with Duchenne face every day and I wanted to do whatever I could to help fight this condition that affects so many young children. Harrisons Brunch is such a great way to help raise awareness of the vital work the charity does – I mean you get to eat and do a good deed at the same time – what could be better than that?!."
